A Full circle moment. Growing up in the dalles, or I have driven through downtown the dalles more times than i can count. The branding behind the 2023 First fridays Hands illustrated poster was built off the town itself. 

• The buildings - As you enter into downtown the dalles you approach Sunshine Mill ( building one and tie in of the sun rays ) the home of a local winery and drive in movie theater. As you make your way through main street you cant miss the wasco county court house (building two), The iconic granada theater ( building three ) and ending at st. peter’s church downtown (building four).

• The color scheme - Downtown the dalles is historic, filled with brick buildings and Memories ( rust ). The columbia river, traveling river cruises, salmon and power. The river is just as much a part of The dalles as the land the town was built on. ( blue )
